Upper Floor Studio
Designed as a multi-arts studio, the cork floors and barn-shaped space create a warm & wonderful acoustic quality. The stairwell to the studio is both a light & sound well, so guests who want to remain in the musical ambiance but also chat can mingle on the patio or in the common rooms below. The unique spatial design creates spaces for an intense artistic event or more ambient picnic or upscale bar like musical experience.
- For movement artists, the spa bathroom & woven screens means has plenty of room for changing & hanging clothes.
- Multiple windows and fanned bathroom pulling cool air coming off the lake insures excellent ventilation throughout. The steam room is built for two, equipped with stretching bars and (waterfall?) shower.
- We await the day that this studio will be graced with an intimately scaled art show.
- Finally, this beautiful studio can be a comfortable indoor "camping" style bunk house. Mattresses & bedding are easily tucked away against the stairwell railing behind the screens to make this an elegant multiple-use day-night space.
